Meet Suite Caroline, a spunky 11 year-old from Clearwater, Florida. While she’s been singing as long as she can remember, about three years ago, she began playing guitar on a whim. “When I was eight years old, my dad gave me this teeny tiny guitar. I was trying to find a hobby so I decided to try it, so I picked it up and I’ve never put it down since because it was so much fun. I started writing as soon as I got the guitar. I write about the boy I have a crush on, my best friends, school, basically everything that surrounds me is my inspiration.”

Even though Caroline’s musical career is short, she has already begun to rack up an impressive list of accomplishments. Jimmy Wayne asked her to open his hometown show for him, and she just recently opened a show for Craig Morgan and Jason Aldean. She has also performed onstage with the GoGos, Sheryl Crow and Pat Benetar. Benetar’s song ‘Hit Me with Your Best Shot’ was the first song Caroline learned when beginning guitar lessons. She has made appearances at Nashville ’s legendary Blue bird Café and she is also looking forward to opening soon for Travis Tritt.

Caroline is very close to her family and draws inspiration from them. Her stage name came from her father’s nickname for her, “My dad always called me Sweet Caroline, like the Neil Diamond song. I always like to play that song. As I got older, and I started a music career, I wanted to put my own twist on it. Suite, like a musical suite,” she explains. She has even written a song about her younger sister, Ellie, “She is an awesome gymnast. I wrote a song about her called ‘The Phone Call Song’. It is about when she went away to gymnastics camp. I missed her a ton, because we are never really apart from each other.”

When Caroline’s not performing, she loves to read, swim, and play volleyball for her school team. She balances straight A’s and making the dean’s list with laughing, joking, and hanging out with her friends. She says, “I love to play games about geography. My favorite game is to find different countries on a globe in a set amount of time. My parents can't come close to my scores!”

Caroline is currently spending time in Nashville, writing and performing. She recently released a new CD, including a song with a special connection.. “I wrote a song called Boomerang. It is about my mom's sister who died before I was born. People always tell me I look like her. I feel a connection to her, even though I never met her.”

As for Caroline’s musical future, she has this to say: “Doors keep opening and I keep walking through them. I’m enjoying it every step of the way. All I know how to do is what I am doing, how I am doing it. If that leads me to fame, that is awesome. If it doesn’t I know this is still something I will do for the rest of my life.”
